Chris Wade - Class of 2015

Chris graduated from Haut-Lac in 2015, where he laid the foundation for his academic and professional journey. He furthered his education at Western University in Canada, where he studied Biology and expanded his knowledge and skills to prepare for a dynamic career.

Since completing his studies, he’s built a diverse career spanning research, business development and strategic management within the Pharmaceutical industry and corporate sectors. His professional experience includes roles at Nestlé, Cisco, IMD Business School and his current one as Business Development Executive at Thermo Fisher.

These positions have enabled him to develop expertise in client relationship management, contract negotiation, cross-functional team leadership, and innovation-driven projects. He is passionate about leveraging his skills to foster growth, drive strategic initiatives, and contribute to impactful solutions in regulated environments. His journey reflects a strong commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and applying industry best practices to solve complex challenges.

When asked about his favourite Haut-Lac memory, he refers to being part of the ski racing team - the friendly competition against neighbouring schools, exploring new hills and areas, not to mention the excellent coaching staff!

His words of advice for current students is to embrace becoming a lifelong learner. Graduating from high school and university isn't meant to teach you everything you need to know - its designed to teach you how to learn for yourself! Learn from others around you, and dont be afraid to ask questions!
